Biography

Meredith Wotka, Physician Assistant, earned her undergraduate degree in 1993 from the University of Virginia with an interest in the sciences. After several years in the public relations and marketing sector, she returned to her curiosity in medicine and passion for working with people and received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from her home state at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 2005.

Meredith joined on with the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center soon after graduation. Working with a team of physicians, residents and fellows, she practiced all aspects of clinical otolaryngology, focusing mostly on sinus and nasal disease as well and hearing and balance disorders. Following her spouses diplomatic career, took Meredith overseas to Mexico, Cambodia and Austria for several years where she worked both clinically and virtually as a primary care provider.

Meredith and her husband have 3 active boys. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, photography, trying out new healthy recipes, taking long relaxing walks with her Golden Retriever, and of course, international travel.
